During a business trip to Roanoke, VA, USA – I was lucky enough to drive through the Blue Ridge Parkway. Whilst not being a 100% dark site – I was 2-3000 ft high up in the hills.
Compared to my UK attempts on this, the dark clear skies certainly helped.
The following images are taken using my Canon 1100d along with a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Lens.
30 x 8s lights with darks and bias. Stacked in DSS and processed in Photoshop.
